Integration

Overview

OpenGovernance integrates with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, etc.), 50+ DevOps (GitHub, GitLab) and SecOps tools, and identity providers (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID). Its pluggable architecture allows you to discover, manage, and secure resources across your entire environment.

Connector

Connectors enable seamless integration with various cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, functioning as a source, destination, or both.

The Community Edition includes three connectors:

  • AWS Account

  • Azure Subscriptions

  • Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)

There are no usage limits imposed. The platform scales, proven in large enterprise environments with hundreds of AWS and Azure subscriptions and 15K+ staff.

Connection

In OpenGovernance, a connection represents the integration point for specific cloud resources. Each AWS Account, Azure Subscription, or Entra ID Directory is considered a connection, enabling OpenGovernance to apply compliance checks and enforce policies across these integrated environments.
